The Next regular business meeting of the Women of the ELCA will be Tuesday February 16th at 7:00 PM. Hostesses for that night are Lydia Hartel and Pauline Lakeman.

The service project for February is collecting paper products for the Hospitality House in Chester. As I mentioned in the January newsletter, the Hospitality House is a house where the families of persons who are incarcerated at Menard Penitentiary can stay overnight, or for several days while they visit their family member and not have to pay for a motel room. The home is always in need of disposable paper products, bath soap, and other items necessary for the family while they are staying there. A box for those donations will be placed in the fellowship hall soon, look for it, since I do not know exactly where it will be when we begin having worship services in there during the renovation and redecorating of the Sanctuary.

We also continue working on quilts for Lutheran World Relief on the third Thursday of each month. Anyone who wishes to help with that, just come at 1:00 PM., We appreciate any help very much.

A report was received from Lutheran World Relief Central Illinois Ingathering LWR key person Irene Roelfs with details of all quilts and blankets received for that area, 10, 512. Along with all the other things that are collected to be sent to third world countries.
