HELP FOR HAITI

The Wednesday All Stars invite you to join in our effort to help those in need. In cooperation with Church World Services and the ELCA, we will immediately begin collecting items to go in Hygiene Kits. We will accept completed kits, individual items and bulk items.

Everything and Everybody makes a difference!

Please share this opportunity with everyone you know, encouraging everyone to join our project.
Items may be dropped off at the church, Monday thru Thursday 9:00 to 4:00.

Please only donate those items that are on the list, the rules for international donations are very strict.

In the face of natural disasters, violence, or grinding poverty, Hygiene Kits can mean the difference between sickness and health for struggling families.

To assemble a Hygiene Kit you will need:

· One hand towel measuring approximately 16" x 28" (no fingertip or bath towels)

· One washcloth

· One wide-tooth comb

· One nail clipper (no metal files or emery boards)

· One bar of soap (bath size in wrapper)

· One toothbrush (in original packaging)

· Six Band-Aids®

Please do not add toothpaste to the Hygiene Kit. Toothpaste that has an extended expiration date will be added to Hygiene Kit shipments just prior to shipment. Seal all items in a one-gallon plastic bag with a zipper closure.

Hygiene Kit value: $10
Processing/Shipping Cost: $2 per Kit

Funds are needed to cover packing, and insurance, as well as shipping Kits to their final destination. Cash donations in lieu of assembled Kits also help us to provide much-needed supplies.
